Paul Temple - a brief history
Paul aged 15
I am a full-time Professional Entertainer based in Mansfield Nottinghamshire. I have been entertaining audiences young and old for 30 years and can offer Magic, Punch and Judy, Balloon Modelling and a traditional street organ. My entertainment is suitable for a variety of events and occasions from Fetes, shows, children's parties and corporate events through to Weddings, shopping centres and open air festivals.
I remember seeing my first Magician at an infants school show. After much pestering I received a Thomas Salter Magic Set on my 7th birthday and the rest was, as they say, history.
By the age of 15 I was entertaining at Children's parties for pocket money. Wishing to become a Professional Magician I left for the seaside age 18 and started a Summer Season as resident Childrens Entertainer for a Pontins Holiday Camp in Lowestoft. At 21 I was the Assistant Entertainments Manager at Twitchen Park, a Hoburne Holiday site in North Devon. I spent my days off in Bideford working for Edwin's Magic Arts, a leading magic dealer, where I designed new props and wrote routines and instructions.

I have passed my Degree Examination and am a member of the prestigious Magic Circle of London. I am also a member of the Nottingham Guild Of Magicians. I am a member of Equity the Performers Union and have full Public Liability Insurance.
Mr Punch & Paul
2016 saw Mr Punch and I celebrating 25 years of performing. It was back in 1991 that I purchased my first set of "Dolls" and some people thought I would grow out of it! Originally I learned to perform Punch and Judy as an extra while working as a magician doing summer season in Devon. Over the years Punch as been in and out of favour with the public and the law alike! In more recent years he has seen a huge demand for his show and today I find my Punch and Judy show bookings are quickly filling the diary with key summer events such as fetes and music festivals throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
